Gary Barnard- has been appointed as Head Chef in McGettigan’s Cookhouse and Bar at the New Ambassador Hotel Cork. Gary brings 20 years’ experience and knowledge in the catering industry both nationally and internationally.

- Gary previously worked for a wide variety of large hotel groups including Raddison, The Doyle Collection, Cork Luxury Hotel Group and Dalata Hotel Group plc. having started his career in Cork at the Maryborough Hotel and the Trident Hotel Kinsale. Gary holds a National Certificate in Professional Cookery from the Scottish Qualification Authority as well as a Food Hygiene Certificate from the Environmental Health Institute of Scotland along with a City & Guilds Food Nutrition qualification.
